Daring terror attack in Mumbai on 26/11/2008 has once again exposed Indian blatant failure. Just a dozen terrorists created panic in Mumbai and beyond and held on to almost 60 hours to fight combined Indian security forces killing over 170 people including security personnel.
Role of politicians, bureaucrats, centre-state relations and media became suspect for creating national crisis. Initial show of unity by various political party for action against Pakistani elements and in passing anti-terror bill was short lived. Mr. A.R. Antulay, Minister for Minority Commission, in his controversial style and may be with the tacit support of congress with eye on forthcoming general elections in coming few months, poured barrels of, now comparatively lower priced, oil in already raging fire.
When we are internally divided like this, our enemies will be more than delighted and daring to plan future attacks.
We have become one of the softest nations on terror.
